I bought this for my aging cats who have been eating wheat- corn- and soy-free or grain-free food in kibble form for most of their lives. Now that they’re older they like to have more soft food in their diet. I bought the Blue Buffalo cans hoping to give them quality can food. However, they barely nibble any of the BB and won’t even touch the duck. The food seems to be of decent quality but my cats do not like it.

Mickey Whitetoes loves the Duck Pate! The Salmon is VERY stinky (which Cats LOVE) but more watery than a solid pate and isnt friendly to his tummy... He ALWAYS throws up after eating the Salmon. Prepare for this. I called Blue Buffalo and they told me I would have to take this up with Amazon. :/ I do not see this as an Amazon issue as BB is the manufacturer ...Every can of the Salmon has been consistently watery, due to BB's promise to never use Grains or Thickeners. I feel this recipe needs to go back to the test kitchen for more work. ...Perhaps can MORE salmon/meat and Less watery gravy as fish naturally have a high water content :/ Just a suggestion. ;) FYI... If you call BB they will send you some lovely cat treats to make up for the poor recipe. ;) They sent Mickey deboned chicken treats he LOVES!! Again this is NOT an issue AMAZON is responsible for or can remedy, so please if you had the same experience CALL Blue Buffalo (the # is on the can!)
