Reviews From our Customers
Customer says:
My cat just loves the Almo canned chicken flavors. She was very finicky and wouldn’t eat other canned cat foods but this one she just gobbles down & licks her lips. Lip lickin good - Lady Meow Meow
Customer says:
Unfortunately, my cat didn't take a liking to Almo. The tins have a good amount of broth, and so my cat would lick the broth and leave the chicken or other until it was his last resort for nourishment. This hasn't happened with other brands, so it was a miss for my feline friend.
Customer says:
My cats LOVE this food!!!! Great quality, actually smells like meat and fish.
Customer says:
My cat loves Almo Nature, but she only liked 50% of the flavors in this assortment. She disliked the chicken in broth, and chicken with pumpkin. She really likes the chicken with carrots! It may be due to the chicken brest and the chicken with carrots is a drumstick.
Customer says:
The four-pack says "Chicken with Cheese" but mine was shipped with "Tuna with Cheese"
Customer says:
We've tried many of the different cat foods that are pure or mostly real meat - the mushy ones, the dehydrated ones, etc. So far, the favorite of our 3 cats is the one called Applaws, in the tuna & crab flavor. Applaws cat food: I like that one because it doesn't have an overwhelming smell - it smells like a milder form of tuna you'd open up to make your own human tuna sandwich or tuna casserole. I also like the Applaws because it comes in a little plastic container that doesn't have sharp edges so you can serve it right in the dish it comes in. There's no stirring or anything required, just peel off the top and serve it. They also sell it in the traditional metal cat food containers, but I buy it in the plastic ones you can serve directly from. This Almo Nature cat food: This Almo nature cat food is of a similar quality to the Applaws, it looks like the real thing that you might open up to serve your family. It has 4 flavors - chicken & cheese, tuna, plain chicken, chicken with pumpkin. My cats are more mixed on these flavors - They all like the tuna, but not quite as much as the tuna with crab, One cat likes the chicken with cheese, two licked the juice out of the plain chicken but seemed to not really eat the meat, and nobody liked the chicken and pumpkin (what cat - an obligate carnivore - would want to eat pumpkin??). This Almo nature cat food comes in the traditional metal can that leaves a sharp edge when you open it, so you can't serve it in it's container and have to switch to a bowl. For me, that's a major downer as it's less convenient and more wasteful as you have to then dirty up a different serving container. If it weren't for that I might use the Tuna and other fish versions of this for my cats. However, the Applaws is so convenient that it's hard to move away from it. I gave 4 stars because my cat's don't like the chicken flavors very much and the container is less convenient.
