Reviews From our Customers
Customer says:
We were buying their healthy gourmet wet food until it changed to tastefuls, so I decided to try something new anyway and go grain free and my picky cat loooves this one! I’m so happy to make the switch, but I’m also sad that this is now unavailable for the subscribe and save. I’ll try the indoor cat flavor since they’re mostly indoor anyway, but I hope my picky cat still likes it as much.
Customer says:
I have been ordering this cat food for 6 years and the last few batches I have received from Amazon are not the same formula. I think i'm getting the pate, yet I'm paying for the flaked.
Customer says:
The best!!! (As well as the dry food) We recommend it to our friends and it is the only food their cat will eat! I've had cats for 40 some years. Cats in our early years were fed popular brands containing dyes, grains, and other ingredients that I now know are unhealthy. The cats became very unhealthy the last half of their lives - miserable with diabetes, weight issues and eye problems. Since we have learned of Blue Buffalo Freedom cat food, our elderly cat was very healthy in her later years - 18 1/2 years she lived! Now our new cat is also experiencing the healthy life of Blue Buffalo Freedom Adult Indoor Cat Chicken. I wonder how long she will live? We have always used the canned food as a reward for coming to us when called. They run willingly because they love it! That really helps us!
Customer says:
I decided to try this food as an alternative o the Urinary SO by Royal Canin which is quite expensive for two cats. Only one of our cats actually has a urinary issue but they like to switch bowls halfway through their meals so it was important that they be eating the same food. Anyway, I did a ton of research beforehand and it seemed like this was a good option. My cats were thrilled. They never forget to remind me at 5am that it’s time for their new wet food. We have gone through one 24-pack and there have been no urinary issues so I am sold!
Customer says:
I bought a shrink-wrapped case of Flaked Indoor Chicken for Cats off Amazon.com sold by Amazon directly, (I'm including a photo of the Barcode and lot number on the case.) We took out a can to prepare for our cats, and as my husband was dishing it up, I noticed filthy cans and dented cans even though the packaging and shrink-wrap looked new, and there was no visible damage to the packaging. I got nervous and checked the expiration dates on the bottom of the cans and I saw a few cans with 2020 and 2021 written on the bottom, but then I saw that there were 2012 and 2013 cans in the same box. I'm not interested in coupons or complaining to complain, I honestly want to make sure the food going out is safe, clean, and not expired. It look like a bunch of cans from different lots in different condition, some very bad, mixed together, re-boxed, and re-wrapped. If that's not what happened, I'd really like to know, absolutely not comfortable feeding this to my cats. Update: I've also contacted Blue Buffalo and explained all this. They pointed to the top line of text, and that's the expiration date so they aren't expired. I'm still waiting on an email from them explaining the variations in what appear to be lot numbers on the bottoms of the cans.
Customer says:
No longer able to buy the brand my cat prefers (damn Covid) I tried this before and he ate it, but this time he wouldn't touch it. Two whole days without eating. I tried mixing it with other food, adding people gravy, etc. but he just turned up his nose. Hoping the animal shelter will be able to use it.
