What is the best food to feed my cat?

Meat. Cats are meat eaters, plain and simple. They have to have protein from meat for a strong heart, good vision, and a healthy reproductive system. Cooked beef, chicken, turkey, and small amounts of lean deli meats are a great way to give them that.Jan 16, 2022

Reviews From our Customers
Customer says:
My cat has been on Royal Canin Hydrolyzed Protein for 6 years. I had an awesome vet who would renew my prescription every year. Well, my vet sold the company to a corporation and they want a wellness check every year to renew the food prescription. This stresses my cat out so I chose to switch her food to a limited ingredient. I was scared she wasn't gonna touch it because it's BLACK. False. She loves it. And hasn't puked yet. Which is why she was on prescription food.
Customer says:
This is the only protein that one of my cats can tolerate. He has IBS and/or lymphoma, and does great with this food (the Instinct rabbit wet food too.) But for some reason, the mfr. decided to make the 10 lb bag open on the side instead of at the top like the 4.5 lb bag. It's virtually impossible to pour it without it spilling all over the place. Super annoying. If you're new to this food, note that it smells terrible (but not to the cats), and it makes their poop black.
Customer says:
I buy it for the quality (limited ingredients) because it contains less chemicals and supplements that animals don't need. Some of my pets have allergies and do well on this turkey formula. However, it is now hard to get (cannot get the smaller bags), and is quite expensive. If price keeps going up, I will stop buying.
Customer says:
My poor maincoon mix was having such a hard time with her allergies no matter what food we gave her she was itchy, and throwing up. I hated it and so did she. On a whim during prime day I decided I would try this food out and oh my goodness the difference is intense! She has only been on this food for about 1.5 weeks and I can already see a difference! She is no longer throwing up, she is no longer constantly licking herself and she is just way more herself. I am so happy that we've found a food that actually works for her!
Customer says:
This really did helped with her diarrhea a lot made it hard again she had IBS .. Sissy later developed cancer and passed away. But she did like this and she ate it made her diarrhea so much better..
Customer says:
My rescue cat suffered protein sensitivity and had chronic diarrhea and bloating for a YEAR!!! before I tried this cat food. It was a long process of elimination of different protein bases to finally find this because IT WAS HARD TO FIND A DECENT, CLEAN, RABBIT PROTEIN DRY CAT FOOD, and this is the ONE! Read the ingredients of pet food, there is some weird stuff in a lot of pet foods, yuck. I add Optagest prebiotic powder to this cat food and now he is like a new guy! The bloating is gone, he has nice turds that don't stink too bad instead of runny, foul smelling diarrhea. His coat is gorgeous and sleek, no more dander. And he has way more energy because he feels better!
