Questions
Is it OK to give cats wet food everyday?
WET FOOD IS FULL OF FLUIDS Feeding your cat wet food every day in addition to dry food ensures that your cat receives plenty of fluids. This is because fresh animal-based food naturally contains lots of water, which is also a key part of the jelly that binds the pieces together.
Is pate or gravy better for cats?
WET FOOD. Some veterinarians recommend feeding only wet, or canned, food. For most purposes, we recommend the paté food rather than the flaked food in gravy. Many cats will lick off the gravy and not eat the meat, which leaves them with incomplete nutrition full of thickeners and glutens.
How often should my cat have wet food?
How often should cats eat wet food? What do vets recommend? Wet food is not a special meal or an occasional treat. Cats can and should eat wet food every day because it agrees with the feline digestive system better than dry or semi-moist food.Mar 15, 2022
How often should I feed my kitten wet food?
If you are feeding your kitten both dry and canned foods, then twice a day canned feedings are sufficient. If they're only eating canned food, they should be fed four times daily.
Is it OK to add water to wet cat food?
– Adding extra water to wet food can also help increase water intake. Some cats will happily eat a food that resembles soup! – Start by adding a small quantity of water (e.g. 1 dessert spoonful) and gradually increase this over a period of several days if your cat is happy to eat their watered down food.

Like many other companies, we have had ongoing supply chain issues for the past several months that has resulted in a temporary out of stock issue with our canned dog foods. We hope to have the canned dog formulas back on shelf by the end of this year – the first part of 2023.

Customer says:
My cat is picky and possibly allergic to everything and she likes this food so I’ve been lucky to be able to get it for a good price

My cat loves the product. However, Amazon's current prices for it are out of line.
Customer says:
Five of seven cats love the taste. Each packet gives 2 cats a moist serving to go with their dry food. In comparison to many other brands, the price of a pack of 24 gives us a good value along with quality for home cats and the four young adult kittens.

OMG - I finally found a grain free food that my cat will eat. I have tried EVERYTHING. Merrick, Instinct, Wellness, you name it. It is unfortunate that this food has vegetables in it because cats are obligate carnivores and are not supposed to eat veggies. The only time I want to give my cat veggies is when I give her pumpkin or squash if she has indigestion. It helps the food pass through and kitties seem to LOVE pumpkin. But whatever, in the end I don't care if this is marketed as some kind of salad for cats (I mean look at the picture on the front of the package!) as long as it is grain free and gives my cat enough protein and actually gets into her tummy instead of being left disdainfully in her bowl. My cat seems to believe that she can subsist on air and the occasional moth snack. Previously the only thing I could get her to eat regularly was her Merrick Before Grain dry food but if you want your cat to live a long healthy life with very few visits to the vet than it's best to make sure that you get it to eat as much wet food as you can. This is where Platefuls comes in. So far I've tried both flavors that include shrimp, since my cat seems to be obsessed with shrimp treats. I'm going to experiment with the other flavors as well so that I can buy whatever flavor is currently on sale. I'm going to look further into the ingredients to make sure there truly is enough crude protein in here and not too much veggie filler but so far I am a really pleased cat parent! Update: here are the ingredients. This stuff is pretty high in protein but it's also extremely high in moisture and low in calories (70 calories a package). This means my 9 lb cat would need 2.5 of these a day to maintain her weight if I fed her nothing else. Keep this in mind, cat parents. Tasty moist morsels in a delightful aromatic sauce. My kitty loves the taste of some of these pouches. I try to avoid the indoor formulas because they contain too much fiber. The ground flax seed contains more than enough fiber, but it does contain other nutrients. My kitty does eat the morsels, & the aroma of these pouches is truly delightful. I don't think this is superior to Wellness Indulgence, but I think the fiber content of Wellness Indulgence is way too high. This has starch & some gums--not good either, so there is no perfection. If your kitty does not eat the morsels right away, they might just need a little time to adjust. I tried not to make these pouches regular food, but it has some good qualities & I will continue to buy this. I would prefer a food without ANY of the harmful gums, but my kitty is so into these pouches & taste now that she is refusing to eat other foods. AND without the toxic supplement Menadione Sodium Bisulfite (source of Vitamin K)--(The Material Safety Data sheet on Menadione-sodium bisulfite states: “The substance is toxic.") I would try to find these via Amazon at $17.76 per box--a really good price.
