Questions
Should I change my Cats food?

It's important to only change your cat's food if there's a strong reason to do so — typically only if your veterinarian recommends it or your cat has reached a new stage in life.

How to transition Cat food?

- Days 1 to 2: Feed 3/4 of the normal amount of current food and add 1/4 of the new food. - Days 3 to 4: Serve half the current food and half the new food. - Days 5 to 7: Feed 3/4 of the new food and 1/4 of the previous food. - Days 8 to 10: Serve only the new food.

Do cats get bored of the same food?

Yes, cats can get bored of eating the same type of food every day. That's one of the reasons why Whiskas recommends mixing up your cat's food with part wet food and part dry food. Whiskas recommends that two-thirds of your cat's daily calorie intake is from wet food and one-third from dry food.

Is it OK to change your cats food?

It's generally fine to change your cat's food to a different brand. Provided the new food is complete and balanced, suitable for your cat's life stage, and that they actually like the taste of it, there's no reason why you can't mix it up.Mar 24, 2021

Reviews From our Customers
Customer says:
My three indoor and four outdoor cats love it. With this many cats, a 13 lb. bag does not last long. The wildlife…two raccoons and one o’possum—love it, too, when I forget to pick up the food plates in then evening. I have even had a fox drop by and partake. It’s great to have the postman deliver the chow to the front door.
Customer says:
Price great. First time to purchase this brand and cat ate right away
Customer says:
That seems like a weird thing to rate about cat food. I don't buy this junk as a gourmet meal for my pets, I buy it because it's the cheapest way to keep them alive long-term and I'm living below the poverty line. I bet it tastes fine if you're a cat, mine doesn't refuse it when I give it to him, but if I were to put down chicken instead, he'd forget this crap existed. It doesn't stink I guess, but it also smells like...cat food. I mean, what else is it supposed to smell like? It doesn't smell any more or less appetizing than any other brand of cat crackers.
Customer says:
I’ve been feeding this brand to my cats their whole little lives and they never get tired of it and I’ve recommended it to friends who now feed this to their kitties. I bought it through Amazon because I haven’t been able to get it locally.
Customer says:
The bag is big it has a large amount of dry food that smells and I assume taste delicious since our cats were getting food straight out the bag when we opened it. Purina is an amazing brand it’s nutritious for the cat it helps with the hair balls and the cats don’t gain a lot of weight on these food.
Customer says:
I've bought much more expensive brands to which my cats show interest for a brief time and then turn up their noses to it. This is the only formula I've found where they seem to be consistently enthusiastic to eat it, because it's always gone and they seem to want more at times. No yucky smells. No extra poo in the litter box either. So the rating of 5 stars of flavor is based on their response, not mine.
