Reviews From our Customers
Customer says:
I am allergic to cats, but I have a Siamese mix female anyway. Siamese and Siamese-adjacent breeds such as Burmese, Balinese, etc, are all known for producing lower quantities of the Fel D1 protein in their saliva and skin (the protein that causes allergies), so these Oriental breeds are good for people with mild-to-moderate allergies like me. However, if I touch her a lot and then touch my face before washing my hands, I can still have an allergic reaction, which involves some wheezing and a runny nose. It's easily manageable, of course. I simply wash my hands a lot, and take an allergy pill like Zyrtec if I'm still having symptoms. I tried this brand of food based on the good reviews and the hope that it would provide a little extra boost of allergy protection, but honestly, I don't think it's worth the trouble. Wouldn't you rather feed your cat something they truly enjoy eating (for my cat it's Nutro and Royal Canin) instead of something that is just convenient for you? I think it might be fine if your cat really, genuinely enjoys this food, but if they don't, and they're just eating it because it's the only thing you've made available to them, then it's unethical to force them to eat what's convenient for you. I'd rather take an allergy pill every day than refuse my cat something she enjoys more than this food. Sure, it's palatable enough to eat, but when I put down 2 dishes of different dry food, side-by-side, she chooses the Nutro or Royal Canin. That tells me this food has a mediocre taste. Be a responsible person. Take an allergy pill, and feed your cat the good stuff instead.

Disclaimer: I received this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion. My cat has been a big fan of Purina Pro Plan Liveclear food ever since I started introducing it into her diet, and, when there were multiple types of food in her bowl, I noticed that she started to pick out individual kibbles of the Purina food and eat those first. So far, so good! Now, a couple weeks ago I had friends and family over, and a few of those people have allergies to cats. Usually, they can't stay at my house very long because they start to get stuffy and puffy being around my cat. Well, not this time! My girl was able to mingle with the crowd, and my guests were able to enjoy themselves for much longer much far more comfortably than any of us anticipated. I'm sure that I have Purina Pro Plan Liveclear, the first and only cat food with the power to reduce cat allergens, to thank for that. This is accomplished by simply and safely neutralizing Fel D 1, a common allergen in cat saliva, through the use of a key protein sourced from eggs. This food was also shown to reduce the major allergen in cat hair and dander by an average of 47% starting in the third week of feeding. So, make sure you give it a little bit of time to start seeing results. You won't be disappointed!
Customer says:
Product claims to reduces allergens, and it really seems to be helping. This cat has thick fur and undercoat. After a few weeks, I can now be around her and not have the allergy issues I did before. Very happy about this, and she loves the food! Pricy but worth it. Those with feline allergy issues should try using this food if they want a cat.
Customer says:
So myself and my fiancé normally have symptoms related to our sinuses but are relatively minor. However, after our cat started eating this, neither of us have been itching our eyes or ears at all! We just get dry and itchy normally which is why we still have a cat. I think the ingredients made her dander less potent! This does allow us to feel more cuddly with her. That it reduces allergens by 47% by the third week of feeding is amazing! The ingredients are more basic and free of chemicals that aren’t good for her. She transitioned to the food right away too, no issues at all! She gobbled it up. Its packaging looks modern, but this price is pretty high. I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest opinion
Customer says:
Bought this hoping but not expecting much. It works! My whole family is allergic to what used to be our outside cat. Now she’s an indoor cat. No one is having to take an antihistamine when she’s inside. Cat’s happy and family is happy. This is expensive but highly recommend.
Customer says:
My siamese cats love this dry food. I ran out and stopped on my way home with a cheap bag of food and my cats won't even touch it. They won't eat anything but this food now.
