Reviews From our Customers
Customer says:
My cat "Minou " is 14 years old and the vet put him on a special and super expensive diet to make him gain weight. He does not like the food that the vet prescribed so I tried all kind and he likes some but they are not senior food with added vitamins. I came accross the purina pro plan and ordered it on Amazon. First it smells great, then, my picky cat cannot stop eating it which is awesome and he looks like he is already gaining weight after just a few day!! Also, the seller is doing an amazing customer care follow up and tracking of the delivery. I recommend for any cat, picky or not.
Customer says:
My cat loves this food. I researched many for higher quality food geared toward my senior girl. She is picky and loves this food. It’s also appears high in moisture. This is important to me for her health.
Customer says:
My cats love this, it's their latest favorite. Hope it stays that way!
Customer says:
My cat had health issues. I switched from his regular food that he had been on for years to this since he is 11 years old. Switching food generally causes a few issues but after going through the adjustment, he doesn’t throw up anymore and his stools are normal. He seems healthier and has more ambition. I should have changed to this years ago.
Customer says:
Finally a food that both ofy cats love! I no longer have to rotate types of wet food to see what they might be in the mood for. And, Its good for them!

Updated 5/2021: for cats with kidney disease it’s best to feed food that is lower in phosphorus - ideally a prescription food since those have a lower phosphorus. This will help slow the progression of kidney disease so that your cat will live longer. Unfortunately my cat doesn’t like either the Hills or Royal Canin prescription foods - I’ve tried both dry food and canned. So I contacted purina to find out what the phosphorus dry matter basis is for this food. I knew of course that it would not be as low in phosphorus as a prescription food for kidney disease but had thought since labeled for cats age 11+ that it would be on the lower side of phosphorus. However it is actually quite a bit higher phosphorus than some others I’ve found. Here’s the info from purina company - dry matter basis. Pro Plan Can Cat Salmon & Tuna Senior 11+ = Phosphorus 1.77% DM Pro Plan Can Cat Chicken & Beef Senior 11+ = Phosphorus 1.79% DM For comparison Hills prescription canned k/d chicken and vegetable is 0.49 % dry matter. A non prescription food can’t be that low but I have found several that are about 0.72% to 0.80%. This Purina pro plan is significantly higher than a lot of foods I’ve located so I am no longer giving it to my cat. Original review: My cat is probably only 8 years old, but sadly he has stage 2 chronic kidney disease. His vet and internal specialist strongly recommended prescription kidney food but my cat just won’t eat enough of that and walks away (his sense of taste is probably reduced by a medication he takes for unrelated issue). So my vet suggested next best to prescription canned food would be Hills ages 11+ canned food and said NOT the ages 7+ varieties. . That has been out of stock everywhere this year - my cat liked it for a month and then got less interested. It only is made in 1 flavor so no variety to help interest him Then I found this. It’s formulated for truly senior cats - and it comes in 2 flavors - and my cat likes both flavors.
