Protein First: High-quality meat, poultry or fish is always the #1 ingredient, with more protein than most pet foods. The Tiki Cat philosophy is simple, feed your cat the way she was born to be fed. Cats are born obligate carnivores and need a high protein, high fat, meat-based diet to thrive. In the wild, cats hunted their prey, which were typically 50%-60% protein. Plants were consumed in minimal amounts. Though domesticated much earlier, cats only began to eat commercial pet foods in the last 60 years. Their dietary needs have not changed an like their ancestors, they still need a primarily meat diet for optimal digestibility and key nutrients. Reviews From our Customers
Customer says:
My cat doesn't like this flavor combination. It is very hard to tell on my phone which one I am ordering since it doesn't show the flavor at beginning of description. Now I can't return it. ALSO the lids are somewhat difficult to open. The pull ring hurts my finger, and is hard to pull.
Customer says:
This is real meat and the cat loves it!
Customer says:
Such a relief! Two of my cats had seizures after feeding a Purina dry “sensitive stomach” food! Both required fluids and insulin from the vet. Sluggish and sick, and now unable to eat any dry food, THIS is the brand of meat that’s safe for compromised kidneys and diabetics and they LOVE IT! Wish the. And were bigger!
Customer says:
I love this brand...super cute and savvy marketing :) Unfortunately, my cats won't eat this food. It legit looks like shredded chicken. I can't comment on the flavor, and I'm not about to taste test it myself...but for some reason my cats don't know wth to do with this stuff. Even the feral cats I feed looked at it cross eyed. Maybe I've domesticated my cats so much they've turned into picky little boogers now. It's pretty expensive cat food for cats who refuse to eat it.
Customer says:
I liked it. It did not smell. It looks like nice food but the cats were just not wild about it. So I switched to something else. Trying to find a healthy wet food that would be good for cats with urinary tract issues.
Customer says:
I read it's very healthy for my cats. For some reason my cats don't like the taste or smell, they won't tell me which. Anyway, I won't buy again.
