Reviews From our Customers
Customer says:
I've done other reviews on this companies food products. I did a lot of research when I got my new kitten and the top two brands that I could find were Orijen and Wellness. Orijen was supposedly better, but there was an issue, at the time of my research and as of now as far as I know, where people said the food from the original Canadian facility was excellent, but that they built an new facility, in Kentucky I think, and that the food from there is all you can get in the US and people are reporting listlessness, vomiting, dull coats, etc... Having determined that I'd then be going with Wellness, I had her on the kitten chicken pate (only flavor they offer in their complete line), and another brand of dry food that I thought was good, but later found out was pretty trashy. She got to where she didn't care for the pate and I switched her to the Core line of kitten food, which was turkey and chicken flavor. She started eating it again. Once she turned (1yr) old, I had to switch her onto adult food. I tried the Core line of adult food, because they are super high quality, but she basically would touch it. She was wasting a lot of food. I went on a testing spree and found out that there is only one of their products she really likes. She likes the "Turkey Slices w/gravy". She refused to eat the Wellness Core dry food all together. I tried this Wellness Complete Indoor Chicken, because the ingredients, including chicken fat, were similar to the other brand I'd been giving her. I had to mix it heavily with the old to get her to eat it at first, but at this point, to get rid of the bag, I'm mixing 1:4 with the old and new food. The lower the ratio, the more "bleh" she is about the food. She likes it fine, she just doesn't dive into it. In summary, the Core line is better, but my cat didn't like the taste at all. There is also a consistency issue, because with more natural ingredients, the moisture content varies. The complete line is stable and you get the same texture pretty much every time. She also likes the flavors a lot better. Also, because their kitten food is very high in fat content, she gained a lot of weight. She was never over "chubby", but definitely needs to loos weight. She's a big cat, but at 1yr, she weighed in at 13lbs 9oz. Having her on the wet food and this dry food, which has a fat content of 10%, I believe, shes started loosing weight. After a month she'd lost down to 13lbs 3oz., which is significant when you're that size. It's been a couple of months and while I won't weigh her till the end of the month at the vet, she looks to have lost even more. I'd highly recommend it.

Before I tried Wellness Complete Health Grain Free cat food. I tried a different brand of holistic cat food. I began to notice that my three girls were vomiting a lot. So, I tried Wellness--a product I have used in the past. This is my fourth bag and basically no vomiting that is attributed to the cat food. Two of my cats are old ladies who are going to be 18 in a couple of months. Their fur is in good condition, they run around and play. My third cat is going to be eight. She had been an obsessive licker and her fur was a mess. It is now thick and soft.

My wife has two cats, they both eat this food. It doesn’t smell bad and they seem to like it. I haven’t tried it so I can’t judge the flavor. My toddler has tried it a couple times without Ill effect.

Nothing
Customer says:
This was recommended to us after I complained about our cat's po0p waking me up in the next room. Yes, it still has an odor, but much much less than with other food.
Customer says:
It smells decent, so it must taste good, right? My cat enjoys it. I like that there is probiotics in the formula for gut health and also cranberries for urinary health. It is said that a good cat food should be whole ingredients and no fillers in the first 5 listed ingredients and I guess it’s fairly alright in that regard. Definitely better than a lot of the popular brand cat foods.
