Questions
What is the best food to feed my cat?

Meat. Cats are meat eaters, plain and simple. They have to have protein from meat for a strong heart, good vision, and a healthy reproductive system. Cooked beef, chicken, turkey, and small amounts of lean deli meats are a great way to give them that.Jan 16, 2022

Is it OK to feed cats dry food only?

"Dry food is fine as long as it is complete and balanced," says Dr. Kallfelz. Dry food may be less expensive than canned cat food and may stay fresher longer. Cats that eat only dry food need to be provided with lots of fresh water, especially if they are prone to developing urinary tract blockages.

How often should cats have dry food?

"From age six months to maturity, most cats will do well when fed two times a day." Once the cat becomes an adult, at about one year, feeding once or twice a day is appropriate in most cases. Senior cats, age seven and above, should maintain the same feeding regimen.

How often should you feed an indoor cat?

Cats should eat at least two meals each day, about 12 hours apart. But a breakfast, lunch, afternoon, dinner, and right before bed schedule is an equally great option. If more than 12 hours elapses between meals, the stomach can become hyperacidic causing nausea.

What can I feed my cat instead of cat food?

Many cats enjoy cooked grains with a smaller texture, like couscous, polenta and millet. Vegetables – Small amounts of finely cut, microwaved, steamed or boiled carrots, peas, green beans, broccoli, asparagus, pumpkin, squash and spinach are all okay to feed your cat on occasion.Apr 29, 2020

Customer says:
I bought it first because Wellness has a rep for healthy ingredients. Kept buying it because the cats liked it.
Customer says:
.I have written several reviews at Amazon about pet food and have yet to see any of them. This Core turkey and Duck is apparently tasty as my cats eat it very well...but i have a calico who has food allergies, esp chicken and salmon. (Salmon was a MESS) i have changed the litter also. She seems better but her eyes are teary....so it must be the food. Going to try Nulo.
Customer says:
My fur babies love this flavor! They won't touch the other flavors. I can no longer buy the larger bag in a pet supply store like Petco. Ingredient quality is wonderful. I love that it contains cranberry, which is healthy for urinary health. Especially in older fur babies. I want them to have the best, to be happy and healthy. I'm so happy that I can get it through Amazon! Thank you!
Customer says:
Great food and my cats love it but this bag arrived super late ( ordered 4/21 arrived 5/9) and was covered in urine and rat excrement. They also packed it in a super small box half the size of the bag so the bag has a hole in it probably to let the air out so it fit in the tiny box...My Girlfriend really enjoyed reaching into the tiny box and getting the RAT URINE AND little pebble's of RAT POOP all over her hands when she was trying to pull this 11LB bag of cat-food out of the box it was shipped in. She washed her hands several times and still had the rat pee oils on her hands...she ended up having to wash her hands in degreaser and dawn to get most of it off...BUT AGAIN THE FOOD IS GREAT AND THE NEXT BAG I ORDERED WAS RECIEVED THE NEXT DAY with no rt urine or excrement of any kind!
Customer says:
Seller and price are great! I got this for my 16 year old Siamese who had skin problems (itchy...pulling out hair) for as long as I can remember. I researched for a while what the healthiest/cleaner kibble was, with no extra junk, as I wanted to transition her from Stella and Chewy's raw freeze dried (and she loved it), but it was so expensive and I was going through the bag so quickly. She passed away from mouth cancer only a few weeks after starting this, so I don't know if it would have helped with her allergies. I do have her sister (same litter, 16 years old) on it still. She seems hesitant to eat it but does. Haven't noticed any change with her fur, etc, and not sure if it's the best for her needs. She likes the S&C freeze dried also, so maybe it's the way to go over this stuff. This bag lasts her for quite a while, though, which is a nice change for my pocketbook!
Customer says:
Good ingredients but it seems like most of my pets don't like this brand of pet food. I have dog and cat tried this brand before and they both don't like it. I thought maybe I would try this for my indoor outdoor cat since he is less picky, he is not super excited about it either... I think I'm going to change it back to science diet... Healthy food but not good favor for most pets so have to give it a three stars
