Nurture has been fed to tens of thousands of felines through multiple generations for over thirty years. It creates remarkably robust vitality and well-being during the tender months. This improved formulation is designed to take advantage of new processing methods to preserve natural value, and nutritional advances in epigenetics and nutrigenomics. Nurture is 38% protein, contains high levels of fresh/frozen and dried meats and organs, protein, and fat, and a comprehensive spectrum and higher levels of micronutrients/nutraceuticals including prebiotics, probiotics, enzymes, omega-3s, antioxidants and more. Colostrum is included for immune enhancement and small quantities of fruits and vegetables mimic what may be consumed in the viscera of prey, and contribute important vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and other nutrients.

Reviews From our Customers
Customer says:
I was dreading spending this much money for kitten food if the kittens did not like it because of some of the reviews. I think it helped that we got them from the city animal shelter. They were just fed whatever was donated to the shelter. We have 2 kittens and they really like this food. My wife gives them a little canned tuna in the morning while she is eating breakfast and they leave her alone. The rest of the day they eat this. They go through a 5 lb. bag in about 17 days. This Wysong kitten formula had the best ratings for kittens liking it. I'm not going to say that your kitten will like it, but if they don't you can always donate the food to a shelter. Remeber this. Feeding your cats good food is no guarantee, but it is far cheaper and better for your wallet and mental health than feeding them cheap food and then they get sick. Take my word for it. If you find that one special cat and it gets sick, it costs a lot of money for the vet and in our case did not help. Our cat died about a decade ago and then information came out about all be bad stuff in pet food coming from China. I wouldn't buy the cheap stuff again for nothing.

My cat has been enjoying this food. I like the ingredients
Customer says:
This is one of the few "healthy" kitten foods that is available. Got kittens from shelter & of course they were eating cheap Purina food. I transitioned them to an adult food, because back in "the day" when we had kittens/cats there was no such thing as kitten food. I felt bad, so I transitioned them to the Wysong. Got rid of the smelly, runny poop from Purina, & feel pretty good that I'm not feeding them a lot of fillers, & other "crap" like most foods. What's important too, is that this (& Wysong) has not had recalls. You know the ingredients, you know where it's made & where it's from. I'd love to feed them Orijen, but I financially just can't. They love this food & are growing rapidly, as well as having a beautiful coat. (yes, they also eat canned food) The pellets are small, so since cats/they swallow most of their food & not chew, it's not so bad. This food also fits in those "treat balls" that they push around & get the food. This does have some ingredients that I'm not keen on, but for the most part it's a quality food.
Customer says:
Crude proteins are high to perfectly balance the ferret door and NO PEAS
Customer says:
A great product for the price... and my cat loves it.
Customer says:
This is one of the most healthful dry kibble type foods available for kittens. We have ten rescue kittens that came to us in very bad shape, some nearly dead. We bottle fed them then started them on Wysong canned food. When they were old enough for dry food we added this to their diet; now they eat Wysong canned and dry kibble. Their coats are now nice and soft, they smell sweet, they are active, and the vet says they are quite healthy. This food does not contain artificial additives or fillers. Several years ago there was a big recall of MANY pet foods, including Purina, Iams, and Hills Brothers, because of contaminated meat source which resulted in deaths of some pets. Wysong was not recalled because their meat source was one of the very few that was safe. This is a quality product; I would recommend going to their website to learn more.
